MONDAY MOTIVATION- 3
As I was sweeping my floor today, I thought of all the years it has taken me to find balance in my life. Consistency is something that the Lord has been teaching me in this season. Showing up when no one else shows up. Leading when no one else leads. And standing by my word when no one else stands by theirs. But it goes even deeper than that. It is consistency in Bible reading, Consistency in keeping up with the laundry. Consistency in house work, Consistency in eating well…. And the list goes on…
I’m realizing at almost 50 years of age, that I was never taught consistency. I’m completely depending on the Lord to teach me. I’m also learning how incredibly selfish I’ve been with my time. To be consistent, means honoring other people and their precious time too.
What do you need to learn about being consistent? Do you have a list of things in your life that need consistency? Let us ponder on those things this week. Let’s ask for the Lord’s help. You can do this!!!
1 Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
