MOTIVATION MONDAY- ENCOURAGEMENT
Proverbs 11:25 Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered.
As you go about your days this week, ask the Lord to lay on your heart someone who needs a special touch from the Lord. This could be a single mom who works hard and needs encouragement. Or maybe a neighbor who just needs a text to say, “I see you and want you to know how special you are.”
Often when we think of blessing others, we think it will cost us money and maybe we don’t have the money to spend. Sometimes a note written or a homemade card means more to those who just need a loving word. Don’t make it complicated on yourself. You have an amazing opportunity this week to make someone’s day much brighter just by showing them that you care.
Depression and anxiety is an epidemic these days. People just need to know that someone is thinking of them. Do you feel lonely? Reach out to someone who is lonely? Do you feel depressed? Give a kind word to a friend who battles depression.
This scripture says that by you being a blessing, you will in turn be enriched and watered.
